Everyone that knows John will understand the importance of this event! I knew he brought his DVDs for a good reason! He is starting her on the classics - Three Stooges! Of course, Glen Kaemmerer (aka Uncle Monkey!) asked if the TVs here have Gilligan's Island - another classic. Unfortunately we will have to wait until we get home to share with her! Besides, as he said, that is advanced training! I don't know what I enjoy more - watching her watch the show, or watching the enjoyment John is getting because she is watching and listening to his commentary!
We spoke with Doug and Thuy with the agency today and they said our paperwork had been sent to HoChiMinh city for approval. As soon as they receive approval in the Hanoi office we will have our second interview. The day after the interview we are able to pickup her Visa and Passport (it was turned in with her Visa application). Dad is in HoChiMinh City (Saigon) right now. We were supposed to meet Dad in Hue tomorrow, but will have to wait to see about our embassy appointment. If we get in tomorrow, we will be able to reschedule our flight for Thursday night and meet him then.
We have a hotel right on the Perfume River in the heart of the shopping district. I don't know if we will be able to carry everything home if we do much more shopping, but I am up for the challenge!
